Anthony Richard Roberts

Anthony Richard Roberts, age 59 of Brookfield, formerly of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, went to Riverworld on 22 November, 2023. Beloved husband of Wendy Hummer, loving father of His Royal Highness Happy Ficklepants Roberts, Anthony is survived by his brother, Michael Roberts, sister-in law Nahla, niece Mya and nephew Zakariya.

Anthony loved music, from listening to his favorite band, the Beatles, to collecting guitars, pedals and keyboards he kept near his computer, should inspiration strike. He composed songs, which were so good that he refused to play them for anyone. Anthony and Wendy traveled at every opportunity and explored the world together, from visiting Machu Picchu to the Great Wall in China to all but one of the Disney Worlds and even digging for fossils in the western United States.

Anthony’s travels included 10 years flying back and forth from Toronto to Chicago, every single week, to be with his cherished wife, Wendy, who he married in 2011. A true-blue Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan, Anthony also played hockey and enjoyed hiking in his spare time, conquering the Atlas Mountains and Death Valley with his friends, who truly appreciated his Canadian humor. Anthony loved desserts – after dinner, for breakfast or after dinner again. Perhaps even better than dessert was Cheese Time, which he celebrated with his beloved dog, Happy, every evening.

Anthony did the very best thing anyone can do – he made everyone around him better. He will live on through the positive, wonderful impacts he had on all of us.

Cremation private. His good friends, Wayne, Al and Dave will take him on one last hike to find his final resting place.
