Carol Ann Weber passed away on November 8, 2023 at the age of 81. Born on November 26, 1941 in Chicago IL, Carol's life was one of deep faith, love and kindness towards others.
Carol was the daughter of the late William J. and Blanche J. Weber. She was the loving sister of Dolores (late Victor) Mattern and the late Donald Weber. Carol held a special place in the hearts of her nephew, William (Meagan) Mattern, and niece, Julie (Julia) Mattern and was the beloved great aunt to Emma Mattern.
Carol, in her own quiet way, was a special person whose presence touched the lives of many, whether it be with a warm smile or a comforting word, and with a genuine interest in the lives of those around her. She will always be remembered for her kind and welcoming nature. Professionally, Carol worked for many years as a trust officer at Citizens Bank. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her home and flower gardens. She loved the animals and most especially her wonderful three cats who brought so much love and joy to her life. Carol was deeply dedicated to her faith, attending daily Mass throughout her life and was very involved with St. Barbara's Church. She so happily worked in the sacristy for many years and led the rosary every morning after Mass during the week. Carol had a deep and lasting devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was a longtime member of the women's club.
Carol was a very remarkable person whose generous spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and will be remembered for the love she shared and the beautiful impact she had on all those who knew her. She will be so deeply missed, but we celebrate the legacy she leaves behind which uplifts us all. May her kind and beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
Memorial donations in honor of Carol to your favorite pet charity would be appreciated.
