IN LOVING MEMORY OF CRAIG STEVEN STRAUSS

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Craig Strauss, cherished husband of Tana ( nee Larmer) Strauss, and devoted father to Paul (Julie) Strauss, Sarah (Allen) Baker, Matthew, and Mark. Craig departed this world on April 3, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and laughter.

Craig was also the loving Grandad to Hannah (Caleb) Flex, Simeon Strauss, Joshua Strauss, Asher Eftekhar, Madeline Strauss, Judah Eftekhar, Benjamin Eftekhar and Great Grandad to Everleigh Jane Flex, dear Brother to the late Gael Lucas, fond uncle to Diana Lucas, Carolyn Lucas, Benjamin Larmer, Luke Larmer, and Rebecca Larmer.

Craig's life was defined by his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and devotion to his family. He worked tirelessly to provide for them in every possible way, embodying the essence of selflessness and devotion. His love knew no bounds, and his presence brought warmth and joy to those around him.

Beyond his role as a loving husband and father, Craig had a passion for the simple joys of life. He found solace and fulfillment in nurturing plants and tending to his garden, where he cultivated beauty and serenity (now). Music was a constant source of inspiration and delight for Craig, he will be remembered for his talents of playing guitar and singing. His eclectic tastes spanned all genres and eras. Craig also found great pleasure in the world of basketball, where he shared many memorable moments with friends and family.

Craig's wit and dry sense of humor leaves a legacy of smiles, laughter and cherished memories to those fortunate enough to know him.

Professionally, Craig was passionate about his career as a QA tester, dedicating three decades of his life to Sungard / FIS Global. He rounded out his career providing his expertise as a consultant to MidAtlantic Capital Group, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working with him.

Though Craig may no longer walk among us, those of us who knew and loved him look forward to seeing him again one day when we, too, enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Until then, Craig’s memory will inspire us, uplift us and make us smile.
