Dee loved being involved with her church, Grace Lutheran Church (200 N Catherine Ave., La Grange, IL 60525).  She would quilt blankets at her church for other countries in need. Her church was like a second family to her. For many years Dee worked at First National Bank of Brookfield. She made lifelong friends and looked forward to serving her customers. But what Dee loved most of all was when her family would visit or call to share in stories and tasks from the day. Like those moments when her family surprised her on her birthday just a few weeks ago.

Her life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”

Arrangements have been made for October 21, 2023. 

The Celebration of Dee's life will start at 10:00am with a Church Service at Grace Lutheran Church, 200 N Catherine Ave., La Grange, IL 60525. Following the Church Service we will have pastries and coffee at the Church. From there a luncheon will be held at Mattone Restaurant located at 9 E 31st Street, La Grange Park, IL 60526 starting around 11:30am.
