Irene Helen Golembiewski

Irene Helen Golembiewski (nee Ciesielczyk) age 95 of Tucson, AZ formerly of Lyons, IL passed away on July 22, 2024. Irene was a tough, independent woman losing her mother at 8 years old and her husband when she was 47 years old. She worked at National Foods in LaGrange Park, IL for many years before moving to Tucson with her husband and worked at Old Pueblo Traders in Tucson until her retirement. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Chester P. Golembiewski, Sr; her son, Leo B. Golembiewski; brothers, Stanley and Edward Ciesielczyk and sister, Josephine Seps; nephews, Charles Seps, Jr. and Jack, Bobby, Billy Ciesielczyk. She is survived by her son, Chester P. Golembiewski, Jr. (Carol); daughter-in-law, Paula Golembiewski; grandsons, Christian and Clifford and great grandchildren, Aden and Lane; niece JoAnn (Raymond) Peterson, all of Tucson, AZ; nephews, Steve (Carol) Seps, Edward, Stanley and Martin Ciesielczyk all of IL as well as many other nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her cats, Patches, Stripers, Scruffy and Tracy who will be lost without her.
