LaVerne M. Weissensel, nee Radke, age 91 of Lyons. Beloved wife of the late John J., loving mother of Robert (Alice), Richard and Rene (Daniel Steindl), cherished grandmother of James (Gianna), John, Joseph, Jacob and Cody (Arie), dear sister of Dolores (late Bill), Jerry, the late Constance (late Don) and the late Richard, fond Aunt Lovey to many nieces and nephews. LaVerne worked as a fraternal life insurance agent for 40 years and was the top seller of newborn policies during her career. She was an avid gardener, loved reading the latest thrillers and enjoyed word searches.
