Marianne A. Kaminski Nee Kruzich went to Jesus unexpectedly too soon on the evening of Wednesday; March 2nd, 2022.
Marianne was born August 3rd,1944 at MacNeal Memorial hospital, Berwyn, Illinois. The day of Marianne's birth was a special gift for the late (mother) Mary A. Kruzich, for they shared the same day of birth.
Marianne attended high school at J. Sterling Morton High, Cicero, Illinois. Following graduation, she worked for the United States Naval Base making ammunition. In 1967 she took a purchasing position at Veterans Administration, Hines, Illinois. During her employment she received several superior performance awards. After working hard for 28 years with the company, she retired in 1995.
In 1991 she attended The Wilton school in Darien, Illinois for a course in the Wilton Method Basic Cake Decorating program and received a Certificate of Merit. In 2001 she received a Certificate of Appreciation from Feed the Children whose gifts had helped provide 100 meals for hungry boys and girls. She also had participated in sending care packages to Soldiers Angels who provide aid to the military, veterans, and their families.
Marianne was a giving and kindhearted person with a funny sense of humor. She enjoyed many things throughout her life. Just to name a few; dancing, donating to foundations, outings with family or friends, blues music, rainbows, sunsets, Harley motorcycles, wildlife, her pet cats(favorite-Shadow), collecting cat statues/figurines, also collecting many recipes, and baking her famous 4th of July cake (blueberries for the stars & strawberries for the strips). And we can't forget to mention making her fantastic Watergate salad. Eating all of her special homemade treats was a joy to all!
Marianne's favorite foods to name a few were chicken, Watergate salad (renamed-Auntie Micki Salad), cheesecake (her homemade was the best!) and polish/bohemian cuisines.
Aside from many of the things she enjoyed and favorite foods, we can't forget to mention her favorite color was blue.
Marianne was a loving daughter to the late William and Mary Kruzich.
Beloved sister of James (wife-Rose) Kruzich, and the late William (wife-Patricia) Kruzich.
Cherished Aunt of the late William J Kruzich and Roseann (husband-Mike) Norman. Kimberly, James Jr, Kristine, and Kathleen Kruzich.
Adored Great-Aunt of Megan and John Norman, James Anthony, Jacqueline Kruzich, and Westin Kruzich.
Loving 1st cousins; Karen (husband-Mike) Westhoff, Nello (wife-Camille) Vignocchi, and Richard (girlfriend-Sandy) Vignocchi.
Dear 2nd and 3rd cousins; Annette (husband-William) Widlacki, Richie (wife-Amy) (son-Brandon) Vignocchi and Carissa (son- Micah) Vignocchi. In addition to leaving behind many more loving extended family and special close friends.
Marianne touched all of our lives in many different wonderful ways with a caring heart. She was loved by many throughout her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
One day we'll all meet again on the other side of the rainbow to Heaven. Until then, may you rest in peace amongst God's loving arms!
Please note:
In her memory, Marianne had requested lots of blue flowers. If you're planning on sending flowers and would like to honor her request, then please make them blue. Thank You!
